Welcome to our dance family! — a cutie corner of kindness, creativity, and connection. To help everyone feel safe and joyful, we’ve got a few simple guidelines. Think of them as friendship rules!
- BE KIND, Always.
We lead with love — on and off the dance floor. Say nice things, cheer each other on, and celebrate everyone’s progress. Here at Collective Heeling, we’re built on community, not competition. A kind dancer is a beautiful dancer!
- NO Bullying, NO Exceptions
There is zero tolerance for bullying. Bullying includes: talking behind people’s backs, making rude comments online, excluding people on purpose, making people feel unwanted/unsafe/unwelcome. Gossip and negativity erode the kind of environment we’re trying to create. Let’s keep each other safe with our words and actions that say: “you’re welcome here!” Signs of bullying will lead to a dancer’s dismissal.
- Everyone Belongs Here
All bodies, all backgrounds, all identities, all dance levels — everyone belongs here. Make space for others (on the floor and in your heart!). We dance best when we dance together.
- Speak Up If Things Feel Uncomfy
If someone or something is making you feel uncomfortable, come talk to me (Dez). I’m here to help keep the studio safe for everyone — pinky promise!
In Conclusion: Let’s make this studio a place where everyone feels strong, seen, and supported. Let’s lift each other up. Let’s be a team. Let’s lead with love. Let’s heal through heeling collectively.
